On Saturday 28th November Northern SOS 540 will return to Tyneside after around 10 years in undercover storage out in the wilderness.
The estimated time of arrival at Wardley is 13.00, or 1 P.M. if you prefer. It will be delivered on a flat bed truck with ramps by a friend of Ted Heslop and once off the lorry, it will be shunted into position at the back of the shed by Bob Kell’s Landrover.
What happens to it once in place is anyone’s guess! Try and come along and see it arrive.
Ian Findlay will be there from about 11 am to when it’s parked up, around 3 pm.
Any offers of help to
a) pick any spare bits up
b) raise a loud cheer as it moves into its new home
c) dust it off
d) offer large sums of money to restore it
